  • Nationally Recognised Statement of Attainment
    • SITHFAB002 Provide Responsible Service of Alcohol
  • Plastic wallet size Photo competency card (will be mailed by OLGR NSW)
The NSW liquor laws mandate responsible service of alcohol training for the liquor industry.
Anyone serving, supplying, selling or promoting alcohol in NSW, in either a voluntary or paid capacity, must have a Casino Liquor and Gaming Control Authority (CLGCA), RSA Photo Competency Card. RSA training provides hospitality employees with the necessary skills and knowledge to identify intoxicated patrons, prevent excessive intoxication and if required refuse service. This course teaches you the skills and knowledge required to serve alcohol in a responsible manner and is endorsed by the Office of Liquor Gaming & Racing (OLGR).

Who Needs to Complete RSA Training

RSA training applies to:

o  Licensees
o  Approved managers
o  Staff, including promotional staff, involved in the sale, supply and service of alcohol
o  Volunteers, including club directors, who have liquor service responsibilities
o  Security officers with crowd control duties
Course Content
This course has been designed to satisfy the requirements for responsible service of alcohol under NSW legislation and is endorsed by the NSW Office of Liquor Gaming & Racing (OLGR). 
Our trainers are industry specialists who conduct highly informative and enjoyable classes.
The course provides an awareness and understanding of:
o  The context of responsible service of alcohol in NSW
o  The legislative framework for the responsible service of alcohol
o  Impact of Alcohol
o  Strategies to prevent intoxication and underage drinking
Course Assessment
After completing the training participants are required to complete a written assessment. The assessment is conducted in English.
Key Skills Training provides access to learning support services and resources to assist participants to achieve the course learning outcomes. If you believe that you may have difficulty completing the assessment due to English being your second language, or you have literacy or numeracy issues, please contact us prior to undertaking the course so we can assist you with preparation.

Course Commencement

You must arrive 15 minutes before the scheduled start time for registration and ID checks.
The course closes for entry 10 minutes after the scheduled start time. If you are more than 10 minutes late you will not be admitted and a rescheduling fee of 50% of the full course fee applies to book another course date.
USI Requirement

From 1st January 2015 all Registered Training Organisations (RTO’s) throughout Australia are required to collect Unique Student Identifiers (USI) from persons enrolling in VET training. 

A student will require a USI prior to obtaining their Statement of Attainment from the training organisation where they are undertaking the study.

You can create your USI at it only takes 5 minutes. Please bring your USI with you when you attend your training course.

You will need to bring

Some form of valid photo ID such as a Drivers Licence, Passport, Photo Card etc., A black pen, USI Number.

Casual comfortable.
